Boosting brand experience
This month saw the latest Feel-Good Brands event take place in London, where we hosted the first in a series of brand workshops aimed at Senior Marketers and Brand Managers. The Hoxton was the perfect venue for this event, with its hip setting in the heart of Shoreditch, the hotel’s home-from-home Pantry area was perfect for cooking up a successful strategy for brand loyalty.
Our workshop format is designed to offer insights and insider knowledge on building a successful brand, whilst creating a comfortable environment for delegates to mix with their peers, make new connections and share ideas. This workshop was led by Sophie Thomas, Beyond’s Senior Brand Strategist, whose focus for the session was on the importance of customer experience in building a successful brand. Sophie explored the notion that we are in the ‘Age of the Consumer’, whereby the brand and consumer are equal counterparts; long gone are the days when brand power ruled, the customer is now your brand’s hero.
An important point discussed in the workshop was the concept that, in order to improve your brand reach you must increase your compassion towards your consumer, be their new best (brand) friend — it’s all about ‘customer obsession’. There was plenty of interaction in the room and time to explore ideas presented in the workshop, through targeted and enjoyable exercises. The workshop activities enabled participants to work through the ideas presented on the day, applying them to their own brand strategy.
The new year brings some exciting developments for Feel-Good Brands. We will have a brand spanking new website in 2017, with a library of digital content that will include podcasts, video content and webinars. We will also be continuing with our series of workshops, so watch this space.
